Based on authority of Scripture, the mission of First Southern Baptist Church is to demonstrate the redemptive love of God for all persons, to proclaim it to all, the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ, and to equip those responding to the Lordship of Christ and the leadership of the Holy Spirit to worship, to become disciples, to minister, and to participate in missions.
