First Southern Baptist Church is a warm and loving fellowship of believers. We are "senior friendly" as well as ministering to all ages.
PRE-SCHOOL through elementary.
We are blessed to have our "ROCK-em" program on Wednesday evenings for three year olds through the 6th grade. ROCK-em is a program including music, Bible study and crafts. We currently have twenty to twenty five children in attendance during ROCK-em on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM. We have a dedicated, hard working staff who minister to these children.
JR. HIGH/HIGH SCHOOL. The EXALT program meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM. This program also emphasizes Bible study, but includes fellowship, ministry and recreation.
ADULTS: Our Wednesday evening program is a time of Bible Study and prayer beginning at 6:30 PM. Studies include Biblical characters such as Elijah, verse by verse exposition, and themes such as the churches mentioned in Revelation.
SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY: Sunday Bible Study meets at 9:30 AM each week. There are classes for all age groups.
SUNDAY WORSHIP: We meet for worship at 11:00 AM each Sunday. Our worship consists of blended music in that both hymns and contemporary music are used. We are blessed to have some gifted soloists and groups, including the "Friends in Faith". We are blessed each week with special music. The pastor's messages are Biblical, and deal with life situations. Children's church is available, ages 3 through 3rd grade.
Child Care is provided for nursery through 3 years. The truths of the Bible are also taught to these little ones.
